Someone gave me a toaster oven with no instructions. How does one make toast in a toaster oven? What else is a toaster oven good for?

Of course you can make toast….same way you would in a regular oven.
You can use a toaster oven to cook, bake, broil as well but smaller portions.
The temperature gauge will be the same as regular oven.

You can use a toaster oven for bagels, potpies, burritos, basically anything that fits and can be cooked in the range of temp/degrees …usually up to 350…that are provided by your oven.

Well, well, being so appliance savvy , I would have to say –push down on the button when bread has been placed inside. But you could do some other very excellent stuff with your t.oven! You could shrink Shrinky Dinks (real product,not makin’ this stuff up) umm….make mini pizzas–everyone should do this at least once and warm your mittens(on low) . Tis the season!!!! Cheers! to you!!!

Yes you can, just check on it until it is to your desired crispiness. But I do know of some books you can get that are full of toast oven recipes.

I toast my hamburger buns in my toaster oven, also make toasted sandwiches in it. It has top & bottom elements so I guess you could make regular toast in it.

you need to monitor how long your bread is in there. If it has a setting for dark or light toasting
I also remember my grill cheese being made in the toaster oven.
